Melissa and myself started with slowly having the rabbits getting to know us. Just holding them and showing that their safe and nothing will harm them. Treats are the best way to gain a rabbits trust and love, trust is the most important thing in raising rabbits.
They are prey and that needs to be kept in mind while taking care of rabbits. Repetition, repetition, repetition is the key to training them. Similar to other pets such as dogs treats after a trick goes a long way in the trick and trust department.
Always have your eye on your rabbits because they are natural trouble makers and love to get into whatever they don't belong in. Have a big cage, 4-6 hours of run time, lots of toys, and plenty of love and you will have a great time with your rabbit.
